For an album titled something like this, a lot of the tracks on this are surprisingly dance-y. High energy, high momentum, everything just feels high up on this. Grating tones, excessive crunch, and scratched feedback melt perfectly into this celebration of thinking outside of the box with EDM sensibilities. Sometimes a style is just a foundation to build your own house on, and “Headache Bait” is a house dripped in paint, blaring neon lights out from every window. I’m loving this album a ton.
